Prayer to St. Michael for Discernment and Strength in Decisions

Heavenly Father, Eternal Wisdom,

We turn to You with humble hearts, seeking Your guidance in the decisions before us. In Your infinite goodness, You have given us St. Michael the Archangel to defend us against evil and lead us toward truth. Through his intercession, grant us clarity of mind, strength of will, and peace of heart as we strive to make choices that reflect Your divine plan.

St. Michael, Radiant Guide,

You who stand in God’s presence and faithfully carry out His will, be our guide as we navigate the complexities of life. Shield us from the influence of confusion, fear, and worldly distractions that may lead us astray. Illuminate the path God has prepared for us, and help us to recognize His voice amidst the noise of the world.

When doubt and uncertainty weigh heavily on our hearts, be our companion and encourager. Inspire us to act with courage, trusting that God will provide all we need to follow the right path.

Protector of Minds and Souls,

St. Michael, we entrust our minds and souls to your care as we discern our choices. Guard our thoughts from anxiety and fear, and fill our hearts with peace and trust in God’s providence. Help us to resist the temptation to rely solely on our own understanding, and teach us to seek wisdom from prayer, Scripture, and God’s will.

Champion of God’s Will,

As we stand at the crossroads of life, lead us in aligning our decisions with the will of God. Strengthen us with the armor of faith, that we may act with conviction and righteousness. We ask for your protection and guidance in decisions that affect our families and those entrusted to our care. Shield our homes from division and misunderstanding, and inspire us to act with love, patience, and unity.

For parents, grant wisdom and discernment as they guide their children in faith and character. For those in positions of leadership and responsibility, inspire choices that reflect God’s justice, compassion, and truth. Help us all to be faithful stewards of the blessings God has entrusted to us.

Defender of the Church and Its Mission,

St. Michael, we pray for your intercession over the decisions that shape the future of the Church. Protect her leaders—our Holy Father, bishops, priests, and religious—as they discern how best to shepherd the faithful and bring the light of Christ to the world.

Guide all members of the Church to live boldly in their faith, making choices that reflect the teachings of Christ and strengthen their witness to the Gospel. May we always be faithful to the mission of building God’s Kingdom on earth.
