Prayer to St. Michael for Courage to Defend Justice and Truth

Heavenly Father, Just and Righteous King,

We come to You seeking strength to uphold justice and defend truth in a world filled with dishonesty and unfairness. You are the ultimate judge, who sees all hearts and knows all motives. In Your infinite goodness, You have appointed St. Michael the Archangel as a protector of truth and an advocate for justice. Through his intercession, grant us the courage to confront wrongs, the wisdom to discern truth, and the grace to act with righteousness in all we do.

St. Michael, Warrior of Truth,

You who stood firm in the battle against falsehood and rebellion in Heaven, stand by us now as we face the injustices and deceptions of the world. Protect us from lies that distort God’s truth and shield us from fear that keeps us from standing up for what is right. Inspire us to be bold in our convictions, trusting that God’s truth will prevail.

When we feel overwhelmed by injustice, remind us that God’s justice is perfect and eternal. Encourage us to persevere, knowing that every act of righteousness brings light to a world in need of God’s love.

Defender of the Vulnerable,

We entrust to your care those who suffer because of injustice. Protect the weak, the marginalized, and the oppressed, who are often forgotten or ignored. Shield them from harm and bring hope to their hearts. For those falsely accused or unfairly treated, intercede on their behalf that they may find vindication and peace.

Let your prayers bring comfort to those who feel powerless, reminding them that God fights for them and that His justice will not fail. Inspire others to stand with them, working together to bring about fairness and truth.

Champion of Truth in Action,

St. Michael, teach us to live as servants of truth, both in word and deed. Equip us with the armor of God: the belt of truth to strengthen us against deceit, the breastplate of righteousness to guard our hearts, and the shield of faith to protect us from doubt and fear. Place in our hands the sword of the Spirit, that we may speak God’s Word boldly and clearly in defense of justice.

Help us to act with integrity and humility, reflecting God’s love and truth in every decision we make. May our pursuit of justice always be rooted in mercy, following the example of Christ.

Protector of Families Striving for Justice,

We pray for your intercession in families where injustice or dishonesty has caused division or pain. Protect homes where mistrust or wrongdoing has taken root, and inspire reconciliation and forgiveness. Help parents to model fairness and truth for their children, teaching them to value honesty and to stand up for what is right.

May families grow closer to one another as they grow in their trust in God’s justice. Let their unity and faith serve as a witness to the power of truth and love.

Guardian of the Church’s Mission for Truth,

St. Michael, we ask for your protection over the Church as she proclaims the truth of the Gospel in a world that often resists it. Defend her leaders from corruption and temptation, and strengthen them to act with courage and integrity. Protect the faithful from confusion and division, and guide us all to live as witnesses to God’s truth.

Inspire the Church to be a beacon of justice in a world longing for hope. May her mission always reflect the love, mercy, and truth of Christ, drawing all people closer to God.

Guide to Righteous Living,

St. Michael, walk with us as we strive to live lives that honor God’s justice and truth. Teach us to stand firm in the face of opposition and to act with humility and compassion toward others.
