"Finding Balance in Your Career"

My beloved child, I know how important your career is to you, and I see the effort you put into your work. However, today I want to remind you of the importance of balance. While your career is a valuable part of your life, it is not the only part. I have called you to live a life of balance, where work, rest, relationships, and spiritual growth are all in harmony. It is easy to become consumed by your career, but I invite you to seek balance, trusting that I will guide you in every area of your life.

Work Is Important, but It Is Not Everything

Your work is important, and I have given you the gifts and talents to succeed in your career. But I want you to remember that your identity is not solely found in your job. “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?” (Matthew 16:26). Your worth is not determined by your achievements, promotions, or accolades. Your true worth comes from your relationship with Me.

While I call you to work with excellence and diligence, I also call you to make time for the other important aspects of your life—your relationships, your health, and your spiritual growth. If you allow your career to take over every aspect of your life, you risk neglecting the things that truly matter. Seek balance, and trust that I will provide for your needs.

Make Time for Rest

In a world that often glorifies busyness and productivity, I call you to embrace rest. “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Rest is not a luxury; it is a necessity. Just as I rested after creating the world, I ask you to make time for rest in your own life.

When you neglect rest, both your physical and spiritual health suffer. You may become burned out, exhausted, or disconnected from Me. But when you make time to rest, you are acknowledging your dependence on Me and allowing Me to restore your strength. Trust that I will provide for you, even when you take time to rest. Your career will not suffer because you take care of yourself.

Prioritize Relationships

Your relationships with others—your family, friends, and community—are an essential part of the life I have called you to live. “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together” (Hebrews 10:24-25). Do not allow your career to overshadow the importance of nurturing your relationships. Your loved ones are a gift from Me, and I want you to invest time and energy in those relationships.

It is easy to become so focused on your work that you neglect the people who matter most. But I ask you to seek balance, making time to connect with and care for those around you. When you invest in your relationships, you are reflecting My love and building a life of meaning and purpose.

Stay Rooted in Me

Above all, I want you to stay rooted in your relationship with Me. “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me” (John 15:4). Your career, relationships, and personal well-being are all connected to your spiritual life. When you prioritize your time with Me—through prayer, reading My Word, and seeking My guidance—you will find that everything else in your life falls into balance.

When you feel overwhelmed by your career or the demands of life, come to Me. Let Me be your source of strength, peace, and guidance. When you are rooted in My love, you will have the clarity and wisdom to make decisions that lead to balance and fulfillment.
