In my life, I experienced seasons of waiting and challenges that called for deep perseverance, from the angel’s announcement to the sorrows of the Cross.

Today, I encourage you to embrace these virtues as tools for spiritual growth. Trust that God’s plan is unfolding in perfect time and that your perseverance will bring blessings beyond measure.

Patience Is Trust in Action

Child, patience is not passive; it is active trust in God. When I accepted the angel’s message, I did not know how God’s plan would unfold, but I trusted Him fully. This trust gave me peace in moments of uncertainty.

Pray for the grace to live with trust and patience. Say to the Lord, “Help me to trust You fully and to wait with hope in my heart.” Through patience, you will find peace as you rely on His wisdom.

Perseverance Strengthens the Soul

Perseverance is the choice to hold onto faith, even when the journey is hard. During our flight to Egypt, Joseph and I leaned on perseverance, trusting that God would guide and protect us.

When faced with trials, ask God for the strength to persevere. Pray, “Lord, give me the courage to remain faithful and the strength to continue.” Perseverance will build resilience and deepen your trust in His love.

Embracing God’s Timing

Child, God’s timing is always perfect, even when it feels slow to you. During my life, I learned to surrender my timeline to God, trusting that His delays were filled with purpose.

In moments of waiting, pray, “Lord, help me to trust in Your perfect timing. Give me peace as I wait for Your will to unfold.” Embracing God’s timing will free your heart from worry and fill it with His peace.
